Just making a quick post about my new song I just uploaded, Melodic / Technical Death Metal, Heavily influenced by Arch enemy, Death, Black Label Society, it's all on the music page just read it there. Took me about 2 days to write and 1 to record.

Ya so I've just finished writing a new kinda thrash song. actually its heavily inspired by Necrophagist and Death, so I guess it's more Technical Death Metal. Won't be recording it for a bit, so I'll be putting up the MIDI file in an hour or so. It's just a MIDI so it won't sound really good, it'll just give you an idea of what to expect.

All right, I made a new song! Lord knows I haven't written anything in ages. Anyway, like Gearbox, its very heavily influenced by Bodom, but I think it has its own feeling to it, more sorrow filled I guess. It's also much slower than GearBox, something like half the speed. That and I tried to do more of a slow Death influenced solo, like on Lack of Comprehension. I also remastered GearBox and added some real bass guitar in it. It's very heavily distorted with kinda of an echoey feel to it. I also redid the rhythm guitars to add more unison, so check that out. So ya, write a review, give some feedback, suggestions for whenever I redo this song, suggestions for any new material. I will respond to all reviews, cause I really dont have much to do over the summer :D

OK this is my first news post so I'm just gonna run through some stuff. I doubt I'll be adding news posts often. My name is Justin Strode and I am a musician. I guess the name I go by for music would be The Strode, cause thats what I put for my website: The Strode. I mostly do Metal stuff, but I like to variate sometimes with Instrumental Rock (which I really enjoy) and Techno/Trance when I experiment with my recording/producing programs.

I am currently saving up for a new guitar to help me expand into Instrumental Rock, which I guess is my sub-category. I'm looking at an Ibanez RG but I'm not too sure on the quality so I will probably hold out for something better. I would post a picture of said guitar with this post, but my computer is being stupid and not letting me download any pictures. I'm also looking into a keyboard and possibly some extra drums for my drum kit (second bass drum, third tom, and ride cymbal), but I just started to play both and my funds will not be able to support all that until I get a real job.

Wow, I believe I'm finished this post and I still have about 31 000 characters left that I can use. Makes me feel like I'm waisting a lot of space. I guess all I have left to say is check out some of my cover songs and some of my other low quality/first songs here. Peace.
